my elena too! her eyes never fully closed since baby time. I used to do it 'manually' for her. Sometimes it will then close fully but most times the 'gap' will reappear again...at first i was concerned and I worry if she was truly sleeping well since her eyes did not close properly. Then someone told me she read somewhere that this happens when the eyes are too big for the lids to close fully! wonder if it's true.... ;p
my kids all used to sleep like that when young too...think it's just part of 'child' phase..my girls worse, their legs also splay out wide together with hands..like they sleeping star-shaped! Imagine how much space they take up on the already cramped bed! ;p

My friend told me it's inherited. Someone in the family line is like that also. But Kiong n me no leh..........
